Make Your Own Heirloom Serving Platter 24 Nov AM

Create your own heirloom serving platter — a timeless piece to bring out year after year as a festive cheeseboard or family nibbles tray. This gentle, creative workshop is designed for adults and older teens (14+). No experience needed, beginners very welcome. 

In this relaxed two-hour workshop, you’ll roll and shape a slab of clay into a rustic platter form, learning simple handbuilding techniques. Each platter will be entirely unique — perfectly imperfect, and completely yours. Options to decorate the platter if you'd like with colours and stamps. 

After the session, I’ll glaze and fire your piece for you. Your finished platter will be ready to collect from my Ryhall studio in 2–3 weeks. (I'll endeavour to get these fired by 15 December for you.)

Spaces are limited to keep the session small and personal.

Refund policy: Refunds will only be made if cancelled up to 14 days before the class. Anything after this time can be rescheduled towards another workshop or used as credit in my shop. 

Please note: While I take great care throughout the drying and firing process, clay can occasionally behave unpredictably — small cracks or warping sometimes occur, particularly with beginner pieces. I'll guide you through all the steps of making, but I encourage you to view these variations are part of what makes handbuilt ceramics so unique.
